Barcelona El Prat Josep Tarradellas Airport (BCN) is located 12 km (7.5 mi) southwest of the city, between the municipalities of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans and Sant Boi.
The airport has recently been renamed and receives its current name in homage to a Catalan politician, although it is still commonly known as Barcelona-El Prat Airport.
