In May, Ireland usually enjoys mild spring weather, but it can also be an unpredictable mix of sunshine, clouds and light rain.
Expect temperatures between 10°C (50°F) and 18°C (64°F).

What to Bring:

✔ Layers! Make sure to bring layers as the temperature can fluctuate. Light sweaters, long-sleeve tops, and T-shirts, pants, skirts or dresses are all great for layering.
✔ Comfortable walking shoes to explore the sights.
✔ Pack a waterproof jacket as there's a chance of showers. Or an umbrella and compact rain poncho
✔ A scarf and light gloves are always useful in Ireland where mornings and evenings can be chilly
✔ Sunglasses and sunscreen - Ireland gets sunshine too!
