About Ricky Williams

It all started back in 1977 when this not so cute little black boy was born in San Diego, California. As a young "minority", he looked around and decided that this place didn't really work for him; all he saw around him was infinite limitation. He thought that if he could change his position in the scheme of things that that would make it work for him, so he became rich and famous as if that would get rid of the limitations he perceived from his point of view. It did…to a certain point.

When it no longer created more for him, he decided to give it up and try the opposite. He figured that if he gave it all up and chased a more "noble truth" that would free him from the rat race. It did. Once he was free from the rat race, he noticed he was becoming entrenched in another race, the race along the spiritual path. Recognizing the limitation of racing he quickly jumped off the track. When he jumped off the track he suffered an injury and became aware of all the ways he had been hurting himself so he became a healer so he could heal himself. He did and he was healed. “That was easy,” he thought.

So was everything else he had set out to do. He began to notice a pattern. Everything he set out to do was easy and fun and expansive…until it wasn't. Then it became a limitation. That awareness created so much clarity for him that he could see all the way into the depths of his being. What did he see? He saw a small bubble rising up to the surface... A question, "What is so fun about all of this for me?” Then another, "What would it take for more of the fun and less of the not fun to show up?”

Nothing came to him immediately, so he just kept on living his life until he received a phone call from a friend telling him about this weird and wacky thing called “Access Consciousness™.” Something about this crazy stuff matched the energy of the questions he'd asked himself months earlier. It reminded him of the space that spawned the questions. It was that same energy, space and consciousness that generated and created his ascent to fortune and fame, the same with his spiritual journey, so it was easy for him to recognize. How could he not choose it?

To me, “Access Consciousness™” is this weird, wacky stuff founded by an even weirder and wackier guy named Gary Douglas. Consciousness has always been around; Gary has found an amazing way to access more of it. If you ever get a chance to hear him or his business partner, Dr. Dain Heer, speak - don't miss it. It will change your life. It has been a rare occasion for me (a famous star athlete) to meet another guy who is willing to contribute to me in such a dynamic way. How did I get so lucky to meet the two of them?

Gary has found an amazing way to access more of it. I met Gary and Dain earlier this year and my life hasn't been the same since.
